Although Alloy C276 Sheets tends to work - harden it can be cold formed using the more aggressive methods such as deep - drawing, press forming or punching. Properties of Alloy C276 Plates enable excellent resistance to oxidizing salts. Adequate cut depth of Alloy C276 Coils is necessary to assure avoiding contact with the previously formed work-hardened zone.
Nickel-Alloy C276 Sheets which have been hot-formed should be solution heat - treated prior to final fabrication or installation, if possible. The corrosion resistant properties of these Nickel-Alloy C276 Plates make descaling difficult. Nickel-Alloy C276 Coils is a nickel – molybdenum – chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in severe environments.
